Welcome to Ella and Nesta's Little Room! If it's the first time you visit our blog let us introduce ourselves: we are a Mother and Daughter team who enjoy quilting, sewing and making in general. This beautiful magazine dedicated to modern quilting is packed full of great projects and articles. Here's a glimpse of what's inside this issue, including a packet of 30 pretty heart pins (the photos are from our copy, we haven't been reading the giveaway copy, in case your were wondering!):

I'm nearly finished cutting 1600 squares of fabric 2.5 inches each to make the Tokyo Subway Quilt pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. ReplyDelete- A queen-size quilt for my (now) 5 year old that I started when he was 1. The top is done, now to figure out how on earth to quilt it at home in my tiny apartment!
- A lap quilt that is pretty much done except for one repair for my BFF who has cancer. This should be done-done this week!
- A toddler quilt for another BFF's baby girl. Just have to bind it!
- A lap quilt for my sister, I've laid out the top and finished all blocks, next step is putting it all together!
- My WIP is my dyosampler quilt. This is the fun one :)
