Giveaway Day! - Sew Mama Sew

Welcome to Ella and Nesta's Little Room! If it's the first time you're visiting our blog let us introduce ourselves: we are a Mother and Daughter team living in Italy who enjoy quilting, sewing and craft in general. We love sharing our ideas with the wonderful sewing comunity and have a tutorials page with lots of fun projects. We hope you enjoy having a look around. To our friends, welcome back! It's great to have you here again and we love reading your comments!

 We've been busy with some Autumn projects and for the first two decorations you can find the tutorials following the links below:

And now for the giveaway! We are giving away some craft supplies:

  • 4 fat eighths of pretty fabric
  • 2 reels of ribbon
  • 2 packets of Milward Cover Buttons (15mm and 22mm)

The giveaway is open to everyone and we will post the prize anywhere in the world (if the post office lets us!), closing on Dicember 12 at 5 p.m. PST. Mr Random will then choose a winner who will be contacted by mail.

    I am currently working on the Starry Night Xmas Panel by Stonehenge. You put the panel together like a quilt and then you are going to pinpoint blinking lights into it.     Right now I am working on a mystery quilt, 3 aprons, 1 set of placements, the binding for a wall hanging and FMQ my daughters graduation quilt. Oh and hand quilting a wall hanging. And making my own bed quilt from 1 in hexies. Whew. What have I finished lately?? Not much! :D

    It would be so much fun getting mail from Italy! It is on my wishlist to visit there someday. Right now I'm finishing my Christmas presents - I made my daughter a little stuffed lamb, but it needs a face. And I made my husband a rug, but I need to finish painting it.     Ella and Nesta, I love your site! The tutorials (and the little one!) are adorable.

    I have some stars that are waiting to be paper pieced. The middle is a cute vintage embroidery. I actually started these last year! Paper piecing is not my favorite thing to do! And I've been plagued by migraines lately so these poor stars are patiently waiting. But.....it gives me a chance to play and visit so many blogs :)

    Hello in Italy. I'm working on a small art quilt using scraps of really bright colors along with black. The scraps are so pretty I couldn't just throw them out even though they are really small. The wallhanging will be small, too.
