Summer Gift Party - Origami Garland by Craft Patisserie

E' il primo giorno dell'estate e siamo pronte a festeggiare ufficialmente il Summer Gift Party. In realtà noi abbiamo iniziato a festeggiare già dalla nostra iscrizione a questo swap party ideato da Lisa @ Piccolecose ed Antonella @ Blog a Cavolo. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di ammirare le bellissime ghirlande create dalle blogger partecipanti ed abbiamo aspettato con trepidazione per sapere chi sarebbe stata la nostra swap partner. Abbiamo festeggiato quando abbiamo conosciuto la simpaticissima e talentuosa Carla di Craft Patisserie. E quale emozione quando abbiamo ricevuto la sua spettacolare ghirlanda origami:

It's the first day of summer and we are ready to officially celebrate the Summer Gift Party. Actually we started having fun from when we first joined this swap party invented by Lisa @ Piccolecose and Antonella @ Blog a Cavolo. We had the pleasure of admiring the beautiful garlands made by all the bloggers who had joined and we waited with anticipation to find out who would become our swap partner. We celebrated when we met the fun and extremely talented Carla from Craft Patisserie. How exciting when we received her wonderful origami garland:

Una domanda per Carla: ma quanti washi tape hai?! Una varietà enorme di nastri per decorare, tutti una festa per gli occhi! Adoriamo le bandierine tra un vestitino e l'altro.

A question for Carla: how many rolls of washi tape do you own?! An enormous variety of tapes to decorate, joy for our eyes! We love the little flags between the dresses.

Questa stoffa di Terrys Fabrics con le cabine da mare, era perfetta per una ghirlanda estiva e ci piaceva l'idea di trasformarla in una decorazione in divenire. Abbiamo usato questa bellissima stoffa di cotone pesante e la tela di iuta per creare le bandierine. Lo spago sotto ogni bandierina permette di aggiungere i ricordi dell'estate:

This fabric by Terrys Fabrics with beach huts is perfect for a Summer garland and we liked the idea of transforming it into an ever changing decoration. We used this beautiful thick cotton fabric backed with burlap to make the flags. The twine under each flag is for adding your Summer souvenirs:

dai legnetti "lavorati" dalle onde ai piccoli tesori naturali trovati in spiaggia,

from little sticks the waves have "smoothed" to natural treasures found on the beach,

dalle cartoline ricevute dagli amici ai biglietti dei musei visitati durante l'estate.

from the postcards friends have sent to tickets from museums visited during the Summer.

La ghirlanda diventa uno scrapbook appeso da ammirare tutti i giorni dell'estate.

The garland becomes a scrapbook to hang up and admire all Summer.

Speriamo tanto possa piacere a chi la riceverà: dal 3 giugno al 15 giugno inizierà lo swap ed i festeggiamenti!

We really hope the person who receives it will like it: from the 3rd to the 15th of June the swap starts and so does the party!
