  5. The patterns in the magazine look delicious. I love following blogs because I learn so much and get so many ideas. Plus, I feel like I can have an online "chat" with people who are equally excited about quilting rather than boring friends or family who are not as enthusiastic :-)

  6. I use blogs for inspiration. Many bloggers post their latest WIP, along with their finished creations. Often the process is just as fun to watch as seeing the end product.

  10. Reading blogs is my favorite thing to do when I need a break: whether from a frustrating UFO, housework, or general stress. I am always encouraged by the warm community of quilters, and it helps me realize that, yes what I'm doing is crazy, but no it's not impossible.

Blogs are a great place of inspiration for me personally, and in my creations!

    I follow on bloglovin!

  11. I adore blogs because of the personal way I can connect with other crafty people out there. None of my friends are interested in needles, so when I turn on my device, I find friends and creativity and inspiration there!

  14. Ella and Nesta -- if you are participating in the GYB party - please remove all conditions for your giveaway prize -- the guidelines for the party outline that there be no requirements of any kind for this. Please email me personally by 4 pm that you have removed these conditions -- and I sent you another email earlier about your placement issue. Have a wonderful tine at the party -- your blog is lovely!

  30. I love quilting but never learned to sew. Once, with the help and guidance of a co-worker, I made a log cabin pillow. Of course, she wound up finishing the sewing for me because apparently she said I had a lead foot on the pedal. Ha! I couldn't control the gas on that sewing machine for some reason. :) I've tried to so some small crazy patchwork but my sewing skills aren't the greatest. Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Have a great day. Tammy
