Pom Pom Tutorial + Bookmark Tutorial = The Pom Pom Bookmark

What do you get if you put together a tutorial on how to make mini pom poms just by using a fork and a tutorial for making bookmarks? You get the Pom Pom Bookmark! A fun and fast project we used to make something to sell at Ella's end of school year concert to help raise some money for the school.

Ella made all the pom poms just by using a fork and some scraps of wool. This is the very easy tutorial at Small Good Things she used: Craft Tutorial: Make Pom Poms with a fork.

I made the bookmarks using this tutorial at Little Birdie Secrets and adding pom poms instead of the flower decoration.

The pom pom sticking out of the book looks really cute! These bookmarks are really fun to make and are good as little presents too. The trickiest part is choosing your favourite fabric!

(these two photos: thanks to Daniele Di Ciccio for taking these photos before the bookmarks rushed off to school!)

Don't miss our giveaway: until the 19th of June you can win a copy of Love Patchwork & Quilting. Just leave a comment on the post: A Perfect Picnic Blog Hop!
