Skinny and Plump Pincushions

Imagine my surprise when this morning I opened a parcel I received in the post to find this plump pincushion from the Queen of the Skinny Pincushion Swap and Bloggy friend Amy from Amy Made That! It's a thank you present for being her number one fan for this swap!

Isn't this pinnie beautiful?! I love the fabrics and the quote, I love everything about it! Thank you so much Amy. I've decided I'm going to frame it because it's too pretty to use and it's a wonderful souvenir of Amy's great Skinny Pincushion Swap. If you haven't seen the Flickr group don't miss it because there are some seriously talented ladies in pinnie world! Amy's already got another brilliant swap idea in mind I can't wait to join...

Getting Skinny for 2014? My friend Amy at Amy Made That! has written a post all about it... well actually it's about a fun Skinny Pinnie Swap! A few months ago I made a skinny pincushion for the Across the Pond Sew Along and I was really surprised how quick it was to make. 

I was also surprised at the success my Skinny Pincushion had and now I keep coming across it on Pinterest boards!
